Something Sweet
A sweet little treat with no guilt:
Mixed Berry Smoothies
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup ea: blueberries and raspberries, frozen
- 4-6 whole strawberries, frozen
- opt: 1 tbsp ground flax and 1 scoop whey powder
blender
Add all ingredients to the blender and blend well. This makes 2 thick smoothies. For more of a milkshake consistency, add 6 ice cubes and blend well.

This is something I make quite often, only without the flax and whey (which I don’t keep on hand), only I also throw in a dash of vanilla. Its really quite easy to keep these ingredients on hand and a super quick breakfast for a rushed morning.
I like to make a week’s worth, throw them in the freezer and take 1 to work each day for a snack. Really keeps me from that mid-afternoon crash.
how long to mash it all together for those of us with 18th century technology?
