Homer tries outreach as a community building tactic.
Homer acts the cautious gentleman. Bitsy is wary.
Homer’s non-threatening posture lulls the wee lass.
Homer feigns indifference in a display intended to convince Bitsy that he is harmless.
And, like a teenager at the movies putting his arm around the shoulders of his date, Homer makes a tentative move.

Adorable. How is the rest of the gang handling the newest (and cutie pie) addition?
Well, TaMara, so far the dogs are not too interested, although Annie will lick her given a chance. Toby watches her every move from the safety of the top shelf of the kitty condo. Bea? Dunno, haven’t seen any interaction there at all. Bitsy spends a good part of the day in the laundry room with the door shut. Mrs J doesn’t allow her out unsupervised.
How adorable! I love the name Bitsy too.
