Mrs J has been wanting to make these for several days now, and finally got the special doggie themed cookie cutters in this afternoon. One of her fellow volunteers at the shelter brought some doggie biscuits in that she had made at home. The pups at the shelter seemed to relish them so she cadged the recipe:
3 c flour
2 c shredded cheddar cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 c veg. oil
1/4 c milk
water as required
The ingredients mix into a heavy dough, roll it out in batches to about 1/8″ thick and cut into your preferred shapes. Bake on an oiled cookie tray at 400 for 10 minutes or so.

LOL, Jack really looks like you guys are playing some kind of trick on him! Does Mrs. J have a peanut butter biscuit recipe? I’ve got some 4-legged friends who love peanut butter biscuits.
