First time I’ve done these, and I really can’t remember ever ordering any when eating out. I’m pretty sure I’ve had a few, from where I can’t say.
I took a short cut making these, no Google search for just the perfect 5 star recipe. I bought a commercial wing breading mix and a bottle of the hot sauce to go with it. From an outfit called “Hooters”-I guess they are birders with an owl for the company mascot.
I used the same breading mix for the onion rings, soaked them in egg and then dredged them in the breading. I think four minutes at 375 did them just right. Made the potato salad yesterday. It has a poblano pepper, some orange bell pepper, green onions, bacon, mayo, and sour cream.
LOL, on “possibly related post”: strip club and simple pleasures. Ah-hem. Here we have Wingman sauce. They are a local restaurant chain with a couple of off-shoots in NC and NJ). That’s my go to sauce. http://www.wingmanwings.com/
The potato salad looks delish.
