Needed to make cookies.
Pretty, pretty.
Tasty, tasty.
And here’s the recipe:
M & M Cookies
(this is a half-batch)
- 1 stick butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- dash of salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup Plain M & M’s
- 1 cup walnut halves
mixing bowl and cookie sheet
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Cream together butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well. Sift together salt, soda, flour and cocoa, then add to butter mixture, blending well. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes. Spoon onto cookie sheet, add M & M’s and bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool on cooling rack.

Mmm & Mmm…my favorite!
