Mmm…Corned Beef Platter

Here’s that corned beef I mentioned at lunchtime.  Not much to say about the recipe, plop it into a sauce pot and cover with broth.  Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer, add the veggies toward the end.  I managed to overcook these a bit but they were still great tasting.  I like the whole grain Creole mustard on this.

The rye bread is still working, the recipe that caught my eye calls for 4 rises, each for a good bit.  Directions say to allow 8 hours to finish the bread.  I may shave a little off that time, but not that much.  Hope it turns out well.  Stay tuned.
