My local chain grocer has wings in a “family value pack” and they are a pretty good value. I didn’t note the price on this package today other than it was less than 4 dollars for a couple of dozen wings. It is trivial to take these apart and fry them with a simple flour breading and any sauce will do. Mrs J likes the thick sweet sauces like Sweet Baby Ray’s, I go for the vinegary cayenne and paprika sauces. We bought a couple of big, nice Idaho potatoes the other day at our new favorite greengrocer so I cut them into not quite shoelaces and fried them twice. You really have to do this twice fried thing with your potatoes, they are great.
