Catching Up On A Hot June Evening

Bear Lake RMNP2

It has been a very busy week. Spent a lot of time up in the mountains searching for moose and bear (we found squirrel – marmot to be exact). Here is moose:We are going on a moose hunt1

The rest of the week was spent catching up on work after everyone left and the house was quiet. Terribly quiet.Kylee Continental DivideIf you ever have the chance to drive Trail Ridge Road and have a steady hand and aren’t afraid of heights, the rewards are many. Beautiful views, lots of wildlife and terrific ice cream await you on the other side.

An update on the house. Everything is moving along at what at times feels like  breakneck speed and then other times it feels like a glacier pace – so I guess it evens out. There will be lots to share as we get closer to completion. For now, I’m content to cross my fingers and hope it all goes well. Keep a good thought.

No recipe thread tonight. Have a great weekend – TaMara
