I spotted some cubed steaks at the store a while back and grabbed a family pack. This is the last of them. I know cubed steaks do not use tender cuts of meat but these were ridiculously tough. Going into the prep for this I knew it had to be a long simmer in broth, these went over 4 hours in a covered skillet on the lowest flame on my stove top. I didn’t need the steak knife, the cutlets were fork tender.
