Road Trip

I went to the freezer for a smoked hock to flavor some butterbeans and *gasp* there was only the one left.  We planned a trip to our closest meat processor for some of their mighty fine products.  Yes, that’s ketchup in my beans.  Sue me.They have the best hocks!  I had four cut into three pieces, each of them will be good for a pot of beans.  All of these are now vacuum sealed and in the freezer.  I grabbed a fresh side (pork belly) and some smoked sausages while there.
