I thought I would try something different with this shoulder. I dusted it with a dry rub and then doused it with stock, a can of pineapple chunks, and added sweet onions, dried chilies, assorted powders and dried herbs.Several hours later it was looking done. It was my intention to reduce the liquids to add them back to the chopped meat. It was my inattention to this process that gave me a new appreciation of the range hood. Lets just say that the liquids reduced by way too much. Amazon will deliver a replacement pan in a few days.Still, the chopped pork had a good flavor although not as pineapple-y as it could have been.
