Bob’s Barley

I ran out of barley so it was on the grocery list.  I looked high and low and finally found some in the Bob’s Red Mill section.  The Red Mill stuff tends to be more expensive so I only buy their product when they are the only choice.  I was a bit leery – the grains looked like the hulls were still on.  They cooked up nicely but I gave them most of the day because I was cooking them with a big chunk of that grass fed beef, bone in.  It was an awful looking piece of meat but a six hour simmer tamed it.
