Pork steak with fried potatoes. I changed my usual recipe. Usually these are cooked either in baked beans or in mushroom gravy. I babied these along in the same pan for over an hour, stacking the steaks, swapping top and bottom steak, turning potatoes, covering and uncovering, adding a splash of garlic broth, and finally adding the chives when I could see the desired end state at hand.
I got a good sear in the steak, the potatoes could have used more skillet time but it was late and I was hungry.
