I spotted a Monarch that was pretty far away but I got a few shots.It fluttered over to another flower but by the time I got him focused he took off.  I snapped the shutter a wee bit late.  When I looked at the photo it seemed it was flying upside down.  I think it got caught the downstroke.It’s been a week so I opted to stop the fermentation by refrigerating my batch of hot peppers.  I have yet to taste it.  Coward!

I made a batch of baked penne in a nice meat sauce made from Italian sausage with peppers, onions, garlic, and carrots in a tomato base.  All the usual herbs and powders.  Mixed the sauce with shredded cheeses and cooked penne, sprinkled a cheese layer over the top and baked it in the toaster oven for 25 minutes or so.  Sadly, I forgot the take photos .  This one is the next day’s leftover.
