Picnicking Birds

The rose-breasted grosbeaks are here, for a while. They’re just passing through. Mrs J spotted an oriole at the jelly stuffed orange station this morning. I am hoping for a shot at it but they never tarry long. When we first moved out here a pair of them nested in a walnut tree close to the house. It was way pre-digital SLRs. They didn’t return.
