Mulligan Soup

It’s too thin to be stew but it shares the same ancestry. There is beef in there, mashed potato, beans, and various other veggies. I made some bread in the machine to go with it.

One of the local veteran’s organizations used to put on a yearly feed that featured Mulligan Stew but that all came to a screeching halt when several people got food poisoning that they blamed on the signature dish. I remember that the big pot of stew was a community project, with a sort of pot luck aspect. Bring something and in it goes! Pot unlucky was the better description that last time.
