I set this plate up for French dip style sammich eatery. I put the pepperoncini in there to keep it grounded in the Italian beef tradition.
It really deserves a crustier bread but I made do. The larger bowl in the background is leftover cheesy cauliflower. Mrs J spooned cheese sauce on her sammich to make it a cheesy Italian beef. That is veering awfully close to cheesesteak territory, not that there is anything wrong with that!
