I don’t remember if we’ve ever had beans roasted in the oven but we can check this off the bucket list now. They are easy enough, toss with olive oil and some salt and put them, on a tray, into a 400℉ oven for 20 minutes. That timing makes it easy enough to finish the rice when the beans are ready. The pork steak had been simmering for hours in mushroom soup made with buttermilk. I had already started to chow down when I remembered to take a pic but it wasn’t too late. I wish I could say the same for the scratch made pizza last night.
