I had a yen for some old fashioned fried fish so I shook out the recipe for Mt Dew fish batter. I had a nice sweet onion so I dipped those in it, too. Poor planning left me with less batter than I needed to cover the fish so I whipped up another dab, measuring by eye. That looks like tartar sauce on the fish. That’s what I thought it was but it turned out to be some leftover tzatziki sauce. It was OK but I won’t recommend it because it was a bit blander than I like. It did liven up with a good dose of Cajun seasonings.
