I found two half rotten sweet potatoes and by the time I cut the bad spots away there was maybe enough for a small pot of soup. I cruised Google for seasoning ideas and ended with cinnamon, cumin, cayenne and some others. It has onions and garlic in it, sauteed and then added to the pot before the blending stick had at it. I boiled the potato although roasting seems to be the best bet. I made a batch of creme fraiche for a garnish but sour cream would work, or heavy cream if you just wanted a cream style soup. Heavy cream sucks as garnish but is great to stir in for cream soups.
