Loaded Sweet Potato

Also known as a Hot Mess. It’s hit and miss at Kroger on finding nice sweet potatoes, but we hit them just right with these dandy specimens. This has secret sauce, butter, smoked pork, minced ham, a cheddar sauce, and some feta just because I had a little. They baked at 375 for an hour after a rub with oil and a sprinkle of kosher salt. The skin can be left on for service but I think it’s better with it removed.

  1. For some reason, I have never considered the idea of a loaded sweet potato, they are such a health loaded option and preferable to their less nutritious counter part, thank you for the reminder to be more mindful of how to incorporate a this not that strategy into health. I really appreciate it. Your site is nice and very meditative for me. I used to be into intuitive eating, but fell off the wagon when I got as mired in the muck of drinking and using. I am trying to incorporate health more into my eating, and sites like yours are very helpful.

    Have a good day.
    Best wishes.

    Damien.
